Bush thinks Iran is a security threat
Bush has declared that Iran is the biggest security threat to the United States. Last week, council members are considering what measures to take against Iran. Iran says they are pursing nuclear technology to fuel civillian power plants. The United States isn't clear what Iran's motives may be. Here is a quote taken from an article in the Los Angeles Times on March 17th: Fitzpatrick, a former State Department official, said that even if the two sides were talking about Iraq, "the nuclear question is the issue at hand. If you look at Iran's motivations for what it's doing, there are issues of pride and there are issues of security concerns, and only the United States can address those security concerns."
