Earthquake hits Iran

Posted By Erin Miller:

A 5.7 earthquake hit Iran at 5 a.m. today followed by a 4.7 magnitude earthquake. The quakes killed at least 66 people, according to reports, and ingured at least 1,200 people. Now that I'm paying more attention to Iran due to this assignment, I'm learning many interesting facts about this country. Iran is located on a seismic fault line and is prone to earthquakes. Iran experiences at least one earthquake per day. I thought this fact was pretty interesting.
